All seasons have their unique style, technique and type of makeup that may look out of place in other climatic and weather conditions.Here are some of the tips to not look ruined and washed out in monsoon season.
Avoid using pressed powder in monsoons as it can form patches on skin. If you must use it, use it sparingly. Thread your brows regularly to keep them in shape and avoid using eyebrow pencil for the season. Line your eyes from the middle of the eye outward using a black liquid eyeliner. Then don't stop at the edge of your eye. Follow the curve of your eye and extend line past the corner, upward and outward. Line your lips with a neutral pencil and fill in with a rose or peach lipstick. Use powder matte cosmetics rather than creamy and glossy ones. Avoid kajal and use water-resistant mascaras and eyeliners. Use deep browns, forest greens and richer shades of eyeshadow. Line your eyes with a thicker, darker liner than you use in the summer |
